Absolutely! Brandon is a licensed minister and will be happy to officiate your wedding.
We TOTALLY understand! When we were married 25 years ago, we were in the same situation. It was because of that situation and the good heartedness of a few people, our wedding happened and it was a day we will never forget. Now, we want to do the same for you!
Marriage officiation, wedding coordination, and vendor referral
A marriage officiant is the person responsible for solemnizing a marriage. Solemnizing a marriage is the legal phrase for conducting the wedding ceremony.
A marriage officiant is more commonly referred to as a "Wedding Officiant" though the terms are interchangeable. If a minister, priest, judge, rabbi, imam, etc conducts a wedding ceremony, they are acting as a marriage officiant.
The term marriage officiant or wedding officiant is more a description of a function than a title. For instance a priest may perform many functions, funerals, services, volunteering, etc. When they are performing marriage they are still a priest performing the function of a marriage officiant.
Although, Brandon is a licensed minister he prefers to use term 'officiant' since it has a non-religious connotation.
It varies from state to state. However, according to Indiana Code.....
